Drawing in the Wild

Drawing in the wild at Starbucks (top row plus barista at bottom left). I also copied Ghibli concept art (girl from Spirited Away at center left, Totoro, panda), and copied a Harald Siepermann character design (old man at center).

Another drawing in the wild. I don't know what is up with all these portrait drawings tonight. This is the Englishman with his Alfred Hitchcock voice I saw at the coffee shop earlier this week.

Sharpie Pen is My Friend

Drew with a Sharpie pen. I love it. I tend to be on the cautious side when I draw, making small hesitant marks to build up my drawing. That's not an option with a Sharpie. You have to be bold and the change it forces me to make in my approach is quite refreshing. Colored with Tombow and something called Craft Markers my friend got me from NYC.
